What are three goals you want to complete this year?

There’s a lot I want to achieve this year, some quite far-fetched, some fairly normal. If I had to choose between three different goals, I would go with the following:

a) Expanding my music abilities, discography, achievements, and repertoire by becoming more diligent with practice and working with new connections.
b) Publish at least one of my papers or at least market my philosophy image more thoroughly online.
c) Start forming my extensive portfolio and apply for music conservatories and schools for the composition side of my higher education.

Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

  yeesh what a prompt :> Prompt   Response Since I know that these won't really be read by many people, I'll be quite open today since this question means a lot to me. I have tons of places or objects that carry a sense of story or meaning in my life. I'm that kind of person that always collect these pieces of memorabilia to remind me of who I am and who I was. To remember the humanity that still lingers as I live every second of my life. It's hard to pick one in a sea of many so I'll write about my most recent one. The object in question brings me a lot of guilt and regret, but a reminder that I can still feel something even through the desensitization. An object that reminds me that this life I exist in isn't always so dangerous, and it isn't always out to get you; so I commemorated it in this item.   words words words Prompt   Response "This too shall pass – to allow me to say this is the end." This is quite a recent phrase I've been thinking and using it. I'm that person that really think of tons of different quotes ranging from lots of media, so it changes lots and by day to day. This one in particular that's been on my mind was one I made while I've been reading back on my old poems. I don't really say it in casual conversations, but more in academic contexts. It means to be able to move on from the things that hold us back, we need to accept that the day ends and tomorrow is a new one. It's about the times when we feel so overwhelmed or broken in a moment, that time will heal us and let us start again. I think it reveals the nature of my philosophy, one born from necessity and to cope with the situations of the present.
